Rock and blues heavyweights Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and Matt Sorum of Guns N’ Roses brought their reverberating rhythm and unbelievable beats to life with an original hit created explicitly for Cardboard Sessions. Enter “Slammin’ on Cardboard.” For the Fender Stratocaster guitar and Masters of Maple drum kit, a tribute was finally paid.

Beard aside, Billy Gibbons is one of rock’s most recognizable figures. As the guitarist and primary vocalist of ZZ Top, this legend has been making music magic for decades and decades. In this episode, he teams up with ex-Guns N’ Roses drummer and percussionist extraordinaire Matt Sorum, whose talents transcend time and space. And that’s only the beginning of the famous crews these two have run with.
